Tim Gunn, design educator, author, and Emmy-winning co-host of 'Project Runway, wrote an article titled "Designers refuse to make clothes fit American women. It's a disgrace," highlighting how the American fashion industry turned its back on plus sized women.
"Far more women in this country wear a size 16 than a size 6, but the industry seems not to have noticed," stated Tim Gunn. However, many designers/merchandisers were simply ignoring the plus size market even though the average American woman wore between a size 16 and 18 (Washington State University)

We plan to provide curvy women of all ages an affordable line of clothes.
